I made the dumb decision to buy an older house that had lots of repairs. At first I thought I would repair it myself and then live in a fully replaced home. Well repairs and replacements are fancy. It sucked hiring out work, coordinating, paying for it, and living in a construction zone. All I got was to paint and scrape the snacks ceiling off every room. Then I remodeled the master lavatory. After that I realized that I didn’t want to live in that house anymore. I didn’t even want to remodel and flip it. I just wanted to live in a condo that required no work. I wasn’t handy and had no interest. I found an arena that I certainly liked, even though I needed to get rid of my older home. I tried listing it with a real estate agent but every buyer wanted me to make a whole bunch of repairs and replacements. I just had that problem! I am not replacing someone I don’t know. I ended up looking for a Jacksnivlle house buyer that strictly does money deals. With doing this, you do not need to lift a finger. There was no mention of repairs and replacements. Selling a house with major repairs for money is the best idea in my opinion. I feel I genuinely saved money. How much would I have gotten from a fully replaced living room and lavatory? I don’t feel the price I would have sunk in would have fixed my situation at all. I am glad I sold for money.
