Getting my start in the San Francisco market

My Uncle Jim moved out to CA in the 1960s; She was an aspiring hippie, who wanted to get in on the dying afternoons of the Free Love movement.

She was also an enterprising pot dealer, who wound up doing particularly well for himself out here, however after moving to Canada briefly to dodge the draft, she moved back and settled down in San Francisco, and even back then it was a trendy, expensive venue to live, although the household values have skyrocketed in the years since, then it’s because of Uncle Jim that I was able to get my foot in the door of the San Francisco real estate market, and back in the 60s household values in the Bay Area were a fraction of what they are today, so she purchased multiple properties to use as rentals, but over the years she would spend money cash for houses and household buildings, but when she was ready to retire she started to sell off her San Francisco real estate holdings, and allowed me to serve as the agent, then this provided me with a fantastic deal of hands-on experience with San Francisco real estate, first with customers, and later with other sellers besides Uncle Jim, then currently I would say that the San Francisco real estate market is as lucrative as it has ever been.

Without the inside help of my Uncle, I never would have been able to get an experience with cash dwelling customers for household in San Francisco. Uncle Jim took all the cash for houses she had made and moved out to a tropical island to retire.
