I have realized that I hate the buying and selling process of homes.
I have moved around a lot which means I have bought and sold tons of homes. No matter what end of the process I am on, it is horrible. The real estate agent isn’t helpful at all. All they want to do is pad the number up and get a commission. They don’t care about anyone’s wants or needs. They don’t know the homes or communicate effectively. I realized early on that cutting them out of the picture was what worked best. I then only gravitated toward cash deals. When I need to buy a home, I look for Jacksnivle, Florida properties selling for cash. When I am selling, I call my local Florida home buyer that does cash deals. I have worked with this guy a few times and it is amazing. We don’t waste each other’s time and talk about pointless things. I don’t need to clean, update, renovate, or even stage. There are no hidden costs or headaches. The process is streamlined and effective. Finding a home that I can buy for cash is a lot harder than selling, but it is worth it to wait a little longer. I am hopeful someday that it will only be Jax home buyers for cash and no real estate agents. These people don’t do anything in my opinion. A home buyer is way better and more honest. Everyone wins in that transaction. It is faster, efficient, and less stressful. I would totally recommend it to anyone.
